  • Creating safe and engaging learning environments

  • Case Study: Analyzing a failed training session—what went wrong in terms of adult learning principles?

  • Practical Exercise: Identify your own learning style and share how it affects how you teach.


Module 2: Training Design and Preparation

  • Setting clear learning objectives and outcomes

  • Structuring training sessions for maximum engagement

  • Designing training materials (handouts, slides, exercises)

  • Case Study: Review a poorly designed training plan and re-structure it into an effective one.

  • Practical Exercise: Develop a 30-minute lesson plan on a familiar topic.


Module 3: Training Delivery and Facilitation Skills

  • Presentation and facilitation techniques for adult learners

  • Using visual aids, PowerPoint, and interactive tools effectively

  • Encouraging participation and managing group dynamics

  • Case Study: Managing a disengaged or disruptive participant in a training session.
